The SUPER Act would institute in law a paid placement program for Master’s Social Work Students in Massachusetts, remove the exam requirement only at the LCSW level of Licensure, and allow LICSWs to receive continuing education credits for providing supervision. 

The Social Work Licensure Compact would reduce barriers to license portability by allowing social workers with bachelor’s, master’s, and clinical licenses to serve clients in other compact states.

This bill sets a floor for financial assistance at 50% of the federal poverty level - $1036 a month for a family of three and would increase financial assistance by 20% a year until greats reach 50% of the federal poverty level.
