We call on state legislators to support a multi-year increase in the level of aidable salaries for career and technical education (CTE) teachers. The current level of $30,000 salary for purposes of calculating BOCES aid makes it difficult for districts to send as many students as would like to participate in CTE programs at local BOCES. Please support the students of NYS with greater funding and access to CTE programs through local BOCES.
