The FOREST Act is a bipartisan bill that aims to prohibit importing products into the U.S. sourced through illegal deforestation. The bill will promote government and business collaboration in countries suffering from illegal deforestation by improving laws, monitoring, assistance, and enforcement. The focus is on agricultural products such as cattle, cocoa, palm oil and soy.
