As a nephrology professional, you understand the critical need for access to kidney care. The 2025 Medicare Fee Schedule includes a 2.8% cut in Medicare physician payment. It is vitally important for nephrology to send a strong message to Congressional leaders that this is untenable, and they need to fix Medicare physician payment once and for all. Please contact your legislators to urge them to enact H.R. 10073, the Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act of 2024, which would provide an annual inflationary update to Medicare physician payment based on the Medicare Economic Index (MEI).
