The White House has moved to cut all foreign humanitarian assistance, including to Ukraine. In Ukraine, the American people’s generosity provides much more than aid. In many cases, it is the fuel Ukraine needs to stay in the fight. When Russia moves to plunge Ukraine into the dark and the cold, American assistance provides generators. When cruel Russian attacks maim Ukrainian civilians, American assistance helps fit them with prosthetics. When Ukrainian families run out of food, American assistance helps feed them.
