Idaho Needs E-Verify - Tell Your Gem State Legislators to Pass H. 252!

Rep. Redman's H. 252 requires E-Verify, protecting Idaho jobs from the consequences of mass migration!

Tell the legislature to prioritize it this year!

Requiring E-Verify for all businesses would end illegal hiring, foster recruitment from and investment in the Gem State's legal workforce, and ensure a level playing field for both employers and workers!

NumbersUSA is proud to endorse Idaho's H. 252, introduced by Rep. Jordan Redman (District 3). This bill extends the requirement that all employers use the free and easy-to-use online E-Verify program.

Now is the time to demand that your Idaho Representatives and Senators support and pass Rep. Redman's E-Verify legislation during this legislative session!

The author of H. 252 recently sat down with The New York Times Magazine to discuss the supposed negative impacts of eliminating illegal aliens as an easily exploitable labor source for Idaho's corporate dairy industry; Representative Redman rightly stated:

"I don’t think that kind of turning a blind eye to certain laws that we already have in place to benefit specific industries is the way we should govern."

Simply put, there is no excuse for allowing employers to hire illegal aliens in the Gem State, especially since it stagnates wage growth and makes Idaho jobs a magnet for the millions of illegal border-crossers who have entered the U.S. in the last four years.

On that topic, one study showed that passing E-Verify and turning off the jobs magnet in a state could reduce that state’s illegal alien population by up to 83%.

Use the action portion of this page to contact your State Representative and Senator TODAY with just one click. Urge them to prioritize E-Verify legislation during this session. Tell them:

"E-Verify is Right for The Gem State!"

Please watch the short video above for more information on how E-Verify works.
