AB 46 authored by Assemblyman Ramos, seeks to exempt military/uniformed service retirement pay and surviving spouse benefit payments (SBP) from the state income tax. AB 46 provides critical financial relief to veterans and their spouses by excluding retirement pay and annuity payments from gross income.
