Urgent: Contact Congress Now to Pass Critical Legislation
A government shutdown is imminent, and several critical health care issues must be resolved before Congress adjourns. Lawmakers are working now on legislative bill language and we need your action to ensure the physical therapy profession is not left out.

Ask Congress to pass a legislative package that includes:

  • An increase in Medicare fee schedule payments to ensure fair compensation for health care providers (H.R. 10073).
  • An extension to prevent Medicare telehealth privileges for PTs and PTAs from expiring on Dec. 31, which would affect millions of patients and providers.
  • A solution to the overuse of prior authorization by Medicare Advantage plans that is causing unnecessary delays in patient care (H.R. 8702/S. 4532).

We cannot afford inaction—now is the time to demand that Congress take swift and decisive action. Customize and send your letter to your members of Congress NOW. With your voices, we have a fighting chance that these bills will be included.

The stakes are too high to wait. Take a few minutes to customize and send a letter to your members of Congress.
