Now that the California Department of Health has taken the first step of making permanent Governor Newsom’s hemp killing emergency regulations, we need your help. We applaud the effort to limit all hemp products to adults only, but their efforts to ban all products with any THC in them would devastate farmers, small businesses and consumers.  The Roundtable is recommending a 10 mg THC limit per serving, which is consistent with widely accepted adult-use benchmarks for oral cannabinoid tolerability and allows for flexibility across a range of product types.

We have a pre-written email prepared for you here but would prefer for you to personalize it.  You may, for example, advocate for a different milligram limit.  Also, the agency needs to hear from individual farmers, businesses and consumers to explain directly why you oppose the current regulation.  Tell them your stories!
