Action AlertNext week looks to be a busy week in the legislature. Yesterday, we sent out a request to contact House members on House Substitute for SB 387. Now, we need you to contact your Senator about the following bill. This bill is on General Orders for Monday, March 25, so please contact them over the weekend or early Monday.
SB 427- This is another KPI bill that is designed to micromanage school board meetings and school districts and could turn local board meetings into a circus. The bill also requires that all school board member email addresses be published on the district’s website as opposed to a central email contact portal like is done for school employees. This puts districts at risk for a cybersecurity attack.
We encourage you to contact your Senator asking them to vote NO on SB 427.
