Support the Afghan Adjustment Act of 2023
Earlier this year, the Afhan Adjustment Act was re-introduced in the 118th Congress, with S2327 and HR4627. This bipartisan legislation has three key provisions for Afhans who were evacuated to the U.S. following the fall of Kabul in August 2021:

  1. Provides a path to permanent status for Afghan evacuees.
  2. Establishes rigorous vetting requirements.
  3. Exands and improves upon ongoing efforts to protect Afhans left behind.

This legislation has impact upon the numerous individuals that TESOLers are now serving, providing relief to evacuees who have resettled in the U.S. and the countless others seeking a similar path.
