Stop Online Casino Gambling!
Online Casino Gambling is a major threat to the more than 8700 local small businesses throughout Illinois who rely on video gaming to pay their bills, pay their employees, and keep up with rising costs.
Legislation (SB 1963 and HB 3080) have been filed and they will LEGALIZE Online Casino Gambling in Illinois and make it harder for local businesses to survive. If Internet gambling is legalized, many current patrons would be lured away from local taverns, restaurants, veterans, and fraternal clubs and instead be enticed to play their favorite VGT games on their cell phones or computers, just to bolster the profits of online gambling companies.
It is time to send a message to lawmakers to urge them to support local businesses by OPPOSING Online Casino Gambling!
Online Casino Gambling will mean fewer patrons at local small businesses, and undoubtedly, result in lower revenue from food and beverage sales, as well as video gaming.
Please join the effort to Online Casino Gambling by sending a message to your legislators and signing up for FREE text alerts! Let your voice be heard!
There is strength in numbers. Together we can defeat this legislation to preserve the successful public/private partnership that has made Illinois a model for video gaming.
