As you are well aware, the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule for 2025 will soon be released. In this final rule, CMS will cut the conversion factor by -2.83%. These unfair cuts to everyone in the medical community exacerbate existing challenges of rising inflation, expenses, and burnout. It also makes it more difficult for patients to access the care they need, particularly in rural and underserved areas. 

It is critical for your representative to hear from you NOW on the impact of these cuts to your practice. 

The Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act of 2024 (H.R.10073) has been introduced in the house by Representative Greg Murphy, M.D. with bipartisan support. This bill would increase the fee schedule’s conversion factor by 4.73% (which would negate the current cut and provide for an inflationary payment increase of 1.9%). Email your representatives today urging them to support H.R.10073 and add it to the upcoming legislative package.
