  Happy Thanksgiving!

Illinois Automobile Dealers Association would like to wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Many of us will be spending the day sitting down with family and friends to eat great food, tell stories, watch a little football, and most importantly, count our blessings.

IADA values your membership and appreciates your confidence in us. We wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving!

To give our own employees time with family and friends, our office will be closed Thursday, November 23rd through Friday, November 24th. We will return to the office Monday, November 27th.  We are always available on line 24/7 at www.Illinoisdealers.com.

Mark your calendars for the 2018 IADA CATA Spring Conference - Scottsdale, AZ
IADA Chairman Jack Schmitt is pleased to announce the 2018 IADA/CATA Spring Conference will be held at the beautiful Fairmont Princess Resort, Scottsdale, Arizona, April 11-15, 2018.

The AAA Five Diamond Fairmont Scottsdale Princess provides the perfect setting to enjoy al fresco living in the blooming Sonoran Desert. As in the Native American tradition, you'll live in harmony with nature...vast open spaces, lushly landscaped grounds, regal Saguaro cacti and a burning orange sun sinking behind the majestic mountains will inspire and energize you. From the rich purple hues of the desert sunset to the green agave plants and coral pinks and butter yellow of blooming cactus flowers, the natural palate at play is of the most unique and stunning in the world.

With four top-ranked Arizona restaurants, inspiring indoor and outdoor meeting facilities, innovative spa, fitness programs, six sparkling pools, including the all-new Sunset Beach, two newly renovated 18-hole championship golf courses, one of which is home to the Annual PGA Tour Waste Management Phoenix Open - this highly acclaimed Scottsdale resort is truly an experience like no other.

See the attached flyer for registration information.

2018 Fuel Economy Guide now available
By law, dealers must provide the guide to customers upon request.

The U.S. Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency have just released the 2018 Fuel Economy Guide. The Guide provides prospective purchasers with detailed fuel economy estimates for MY 2018 light-duty vehicles, along with other information including estimated annual fuel costs.

To ensure that customers have ready access to fuel economy information for current model year vehicles, dealers may choose to print copies to have on hand or provide access to the electronic version/website on a computer or electronic device.

New for 2018

* Enhanced Electronic Access The 2018 Fuel Economy Guide is available in electronic format only. The online guide will be updated periodically to include newly released vehicle models and current fuel cost estimates. You can download the latest guide and print copies from the electronic file as needed.
* Display Signage Dealers can download, print and display a poster directing customers to the Fuel Economy Guide (this is optional and is not required by law).
* An EPA/DOE letter details how to make the guide available to customers.
