A number of dangerous changes are being proposed to shrink Medicaid. Plans to make massive cuts to the Medicaid program and add work requirements are being discussed in Congress today! 

Thousands of people in the Huntington’s disease community rely on Medicaid for healthcare. What would you or your loved ones do if your medical services, prescriptions, or home/community supports were reduced or taken away? The time to act is NOW.
We have made it easy for you to contact your U.S. Representative and Senators and tell them NO CUTS TO MEDICAID! 
Please follow these steps:
1. Review your personal information in the box to the right. If you are new to the HDSA Advocacy Hub, you will be asked to enter your contact information.
2. Please personalize this email to your U.S. Representative and U.S. Senators by adding information about the # of people in your state who receive healthcare through the Medicaid program by following the steps below.
3. Go to the end of the 2nd paragraph. The last sentence of this paragraph is: During this 29-month gap, people need Medicaid to provide medical services, prescriptions, or home/community supports.
4. Add this sentence to the end of the 2nd paragraph.
