Action Alert: Urge Your Local Representatives to Support Workforce Development by Co-Sponsoring HB 6786
The HBRA of CT asks all members to contact their State Representatives and State Senators and urge them to co-sponsor House Bill 6786: An Act Concerning The Hiring Ratio for Skilled Trades

Connecticut continues to lag the rest of the country in housing production, in part because of its shrinking and aging construction workforce, which happens to be among the oldest in the country. Reforming the Journeyman to Apprentice Hiring Ratios would not only help combat the housing affordability and accessibility crisis in Connecticut, but it will also pave the way for licensed contractors to hire and train more apprentices, providing great paying career opportunities for the next generation of the licensed trades.

Ask your state representatives and senators to co-sponsor House Bill 6786 today!
