The Episcopal Church has a deep commitment to welcoming strangers and advocating for just and humane immigration policies. When the Trump administration rescinded the sensitive locations memo, The Episcopal Church joined with other religious groups to argue that the change infringes on our religious freedom.
Now, we ask for you to join in advocating for legislation to ensure our religious freedom is protected. In keeping with that commitment, we advocate for the passage of the Protecting Sensitive Locations Act (H.R. 1061/S.455).

As stated in the lawsuit The Episcopal Church joined, the Trump Administration's actions have created a "chilling effect" on the ability of people to freely exercise their religious beliefs and seek necessary medical care, and even threaten educational opportunities. This undermines vital institutions and services on which our society depends.
