Research shows that uninsured Americans are less likely to get screened for cancer and more likely to have their cancer diagnosed at advanced stages, when outcomes are worse and the cost of care is much higher. Among cancer survivors, access to insurance is critical for managing long-term side effects of treatment and screening for new issues.
Join us in telling Congress that childhood cancer families and survivors need more support, not less.
