Dear Hawaii ACC Member,

There is currently a movement to reform prior authorization practices in Hawaii! House Bill 250, introduced by Representative Martin, will make meaningful changes, including requiring utilization review entities to submit data relating to prior authorization and establishing timelines for prior authorization requests for urgent and non-urgent health care services.

House Bill 250 just passed the House! We now need to ensure this long-overdue prior authorization reform passes the Senate.
