Urge Your Lawmakers to Address the 2025 Medicare Cuts!
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) finalized a cut of -2.8% to physical and occupational therapy providers for 2025, which went into effect on January 1. These cuts are destabilizing to providers and disrupt the ability of physical and occupational therapists to provide high-quality, cost-effective care to older Americans.

It is critical that Congress addresses these Medicare cuts as soon as possible.

Fortunately, a group of bipartisan Members of Congress, led by Reps. Greg Murphy, M.D. (R-NC) and Jimmy Panetta (D-CA), have introduced the Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act of 2025 (H.R. 879), which would address the cuts that went into effect on January 1 and provide a 2% reimbursement update to Medicare providers this year.

Please email your lawmakers today urging them to cosponsor this critical legislation!
