Urge Your Members of Congress to Extend Telehealth Flexibilities
Clinicians who provide telehealth services to Medicare patients are once again facing uncertainty as the temporary Medicare telehealth rules that have been in place since March 2020 will expire on January 30, 2026. There was hope that Congress would pass legislation to extend them or make them permanent as part of a measure to keep the government funded into Fiscal Year 2026 but Congress was unable to agree on a funding package.

Join AGS and urge your members of Congress to, at minimum, extend the telehealth flexibilities that have lapsed, including coverage of audio-only services.
