Join AGS and urge your Senators to co-sponsor the Geriatrics Workforce Improvement Act (S. 2699), legislation that would reauthorize funding for the Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) and Geriatrics Academic Career Award (GACA) Program.
As the only federal programs designed to address the geriatrics workforce gap and increase the number of faculty with geriatrics expertise across disciplines, the GWEP and GACA Program are critical to caring for older adults living with chronic disease.
