Urge Your Legislators to Prevent Implementation of Indirect Cost Cuts of NIH Grants
We are hopeful that you will call your legislators urging them to take action and prevent implementation of the new grant policy from National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Supplemental Guidance to the 2024 NIH Grants Policy Statement Indirect Cost Rates, an across-the-board 15% cap of indirect costs. While there is a nationwide pause in place until the court determines next steps, it is imperative that Congress takes steps to ensure that arbitrary cuts and policies that do not reflect input from the broader scientific community do not impede crucial biomedical research conducted in the United States.

Please take a few minutes to call your members of Congress to let them know your concerns about this new NIH grants policy.
