Protect Maryland's Merit Shop Construction Industry
Did you know that 90% of construction workers are shut out from developing Maryland’s roads, bridges, schools, and hospitals when a Government-Mandated Project Labor Agreement is applied to a taxpayer-funded project—just because they chose not to join a union?

The exclusionary nature of Government-Mandated Project Labor Agreements is harming our industry and keeping hard-working Maryland construction workers from participating in taxpayer-funded projects. We need to push back. Take action today to contact your elected leaders demanding they level the playing field for construction businesses and workers when it comes to working on taxpayer-funded projects.

The MD Coalition for Fairness & Open Competition is advocating against the use of government-mandated PLAs in Maryland, bringing together over 5,000 employers and 100,000 workers in the region to make our voice heard. Visit the coalition's website and join the fight by signing up for updates and forwarding this email to encourage other colleagues, friends, or other construction businesses to support the collective effort!
