Biden Administration Extends Student Loan Pause Through May 1

On Wednesday December 23, the Department of Education (ED) announced a 90-day extension of the pause on student loan repayment, interest, and collections, which are now set to resume on May 1, 2022. ED estimates that the pause will affect 41 million borrowers. For more information, please visit ED’s Office of Federal Student Aid.
