Act Today: Ask Congress to Support Title VIII and NINR Funding in FY 2025
Dear AACN Advocate:

In September, Congress passed a continuing resolution, which funds the federal government until December 20th. This provides limited days for our federal policymakers to consider and pass a Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 budget. As Congress continues their appropriations negotiations, it is imperative that they hear directly from you about why sustained and elevated funding for our Title VIII Nursing Workforce Development programs and the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) are so important.

Please send messages to your Representative and Senators today asking them to support and pass the Senate bipartisan proposal, which maintains the current structure of NIH, includes at least $310.472 million for Title VIII programs, a five million dollar increase, and provides sustained funding of at least $197.693 million for NINR in FY 2025!

We appreciate your support as we continue to advocate for essential federal funding that directly supports our nursing schools, faculty, researchers, and students.
