The Indiana primary elections are next Tuesday, May 7. There are several Indiana seats in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate that are up for grabs due to retirements and changes in candidacy.
In the U.S. House of Representatives, retirements include Rep. Greg Pence (District 6) and Rep. Larry Bucshon (District 8). Rep. Jim Banks (District 3) is now running for the Senate, creating an open seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. Also, Sen. Mike Braun is leaving Congress to run for Indiana Governor, leaving his Senate seat vacant, which Rep. Jim Banks is vying for. Additionally, it is important to note that Rep. Victoria Spartz (District 5) has reversed her decision to retire and will now be seeking re-election for her House seat.
Remember, being an informed voter is crucial, so make sure you are up-to-date on the candidates and the issues before heading to the polls. To read more about Rep.
