The Indiana primary election is less than a month away, and it is more important than ever to vote! Voting not only amplifies your voice but also provides citizens with the chance to shape state and national policies, laws, and regulations.
With the Indiana primary approaching, new legislation signed into law in March 2024, requires first-time voters to show proof of residency when registering to vote in person. First-time voters would also be permitted to provide an Indiana driver’s license or social security number matching the state records when registering to vote.
The law, effective July 1, 2024, will impact voter registration for the 2024 General Election. To learn more about voter registration requirements in Indiana, check out this resource.
