Healthcare Costs, Civic Engagement, and the 2024 Election
April 11, 2024 by Megan Boyd

As we approach the 2024 presidential election, healthcare costs remain a critical issue for Americans. Regardless of political affiliation, nearly three-quarters (74%) of adults worry about affording unexpected medical bills and healthcare services. Voters hope that presidential candidates will address this crucial issue during their campaigns. Amidst these concerns, it is essential to highlight the power of civic engagement and voting.

Our Get Out the Vote 2024 (GOTV) campaign is focused on encouraging civic engagement. Voting remains the most powerful way to make your voice heard, and voting allows citizens to influence policies and laws. Voting in primary elections is just as important as voting in the general election in November. Primary elections are ongoing nationwide, with Indiana’s primary election scheduled for May 7, 2024.

In the interest of protecting the business of healthcare, advocating for fair physician reimbursement, and ensuring care is accessible to all patients, it is crucial to vote. Simply enter your zip code into our Election Center, which is on the right-hand side of our “Get Involved” webpage, to access voting resources, including a polling place locator and information about your candidates.

The Indiana Primary Election is on May 7, 2024.
