In our latest Zotec Answers podcast, Mark Isenberg, EVP of Health Advocacy for Zotec Partners, sat down with Christopher Crancer, SVP of Radiology and Public Policy Partnerships and Executive Director of RAYUS Quality Institute, and President of the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA). In their conversation they discussed the top healthcare advocacy challenges for 2024 and topics they are looking forward to discussing at RBMA’s PaRADigm meeting next week.
During this episode, the complex landscape of healthcare advocacy was discussed, addressing the myriad of challenges at both the state and federal level. One of the major challenges at the federal level is the continual cycle of reimbursement cuts. However, there does seem to be a glimmer of hope as legislators are becoming more aware of these issues.
Amid discussions about the persistent challenge of reimbursement cuts, a previous A to ZPAC blog highlighted the bipartisan efforts of a group of Senators striving to enact long-term Medicare reform. These initiatives underscore a growing awareness among legislators, offering hope for substantive solutions to the pressing issues facing healthcare advocacy.
