This holiday season, while many of us gather with loved ones around full tables, millions of children face a very different reality — empty plates and uncertainty about their next meal.
Around the world, more than 700 million people are experiencing empty plates. This crisis is fueled by conflict, extreme weather, and economic instability, making access to nutritious food nearly impossible. For too many parents, the agonizing choice between feeding their children or paying for other essentials is an everyday reality. And the children? They’re paying the price for a food system that leaves them vulnerable. Without a doubt, this is the greatest humanitarian crisis of our lifetime.
This isn’t a problem of scarcity — it’s a failure of our food system. We do have enough food to feed everyone. Now, more than ever, it’s time for us to say, “ENOUGH.” No child’s future should be limited by an empty plate.
We need your help to raise awareness and action about children facing hunger. In the spirit of gratitude — and as we navigate the aftermath of a particularly divisive election — we have a powerful opportunity to stand together against global hunger and use our voices. Will you tell Congress that the global hunger crisis matters to you and that they need to use their influence for good?
