The U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate Budget Committees have advanced budget resolutions for the remainder of the Federal Fiscal Year 2025 (October 1, 2024–September 30, 2025).
The Senate Budget Committee passed its resolution out of committee on February 12, which would authorize $85.5 billion in spending per year to be fully offset by corresponding spending cuts.
The House Budget Committee passed its resolution out of the committee on February 13, which would cut $880 billion in spending related to programs, including Health and Human Services programs.
