Vibrant joined AARP and forty-one organizations urging the New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie to support Governor Kathy Hochul's series of initiatives on prescription drug price transparency included in the 2023-2024 budget. 

If enacted, the legislation would require prescription drug manufacturers to report price increases in advance, including the reason for the rise. In addition, the bill would require disclosure of or a ban on "pay for delay" deals where brand name drug makers pay generic manufacturers to keep their cheaper generic versions off the market.
