Jason Miyares still has a year left in his term.  He’s not a bad guy, but he just hasn’t put enough energy into protecting our right to keep and bear arms as we had hoped when we elected him.  There is still time for him to get active on defending both the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and Article I, Section 13 of the Virginia Constitution.

Let’s encourage him to look at the U.S. Supreme Court’s New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen decision and start applying it to Virginia’s gun laws.  We also need to urge him to clarify where the “gun-free” zone is when a church or business has a daycare or preschool facility.
