Happy New Year! As we enter a new phase of our advocacy work, we want to reconnect with you, our amazing supporters, and share a few updates!
1) We’re getting a new website! Our old website launched when our Campaign did, way back in 2014. Since then, we’ve been so busy winning historic funding to solve chronic homelessness that we’ve not had a chance to make updates. 8 years later, we’re proud to share that a revamp is coming!
You may notice that some of our content is not available or is in a different location. We are working hard to rebuild our archives and thank you for your patience! In the meantime, if you are looking for a specific piece of information, please email Jesse at jesse.rabinowitz@miriamskitchen.org.
2) It’s budget season! We’re working hard to build relationships with new Council members, raise awareness around urgent funding needs, and ensure that historic resources allocated over the past few years are implemented effectively – and we’ll need your help! There are many ways to get involved during this budget season. Please keep a look out for our campaign budget recommendations as well as upcoming actions and events to further our budget advocacy.
