The Advanced Clean Trucks Act (ACT) requires manufacturers to sell an increasing percentage of zero-emission trucks to be able to continue to sell diesel or gasoline-powered trucks without penalty. There are significant challenges associated with the use of zero-emission trucks. Implementing the ACT at this time threatens to drive up costs, limit the availability of trucks, impact the supply chain and ultimately lead to a loss of jobs in the state. 

The ACT does not recognize economic realities, technology limitations, and infrastructure needs.

There IS a solution, and your voice needs to be heard! Legislation (S.5931/A.6359) has been introduced that will immediately stop and delay further implementation of the ACT.

Contact your Assembly and Senate representatives today and urge them to support this legislation.
