Please urge your Georgia state Senator, and members of the Senate State and Local Government Operations Committee, to vote against HB 295.
This bill would allow property holders to demand compensation from and sue their local governments for a failure to sufficiently enforce certain public nuisance laws—clearly aimed at increasing arrests of the homeless, our most vulnerable neighbors.
