Georgia Only: Tell Your State Rep to Vote Against HB 295
Urge your state representative to vote against HB 295. This legislation would allow property holders to demand compensation from and sue their local governments for a failure to sufficiently enforce certain public nuisance laws or immigration policies.  This legislation would make local governments financially liable for homelessness and immigration problems over which they have no control.  Financially punishing local governments does not address the root causes of homelessness in our state.
