Oppose HB 767 - Support Religious Liberty

Thank you for taking the time to defend your religious liberty. HB 767 An act strengthening civil rights actually threatens our First Civil Right of the freedom of religion. All businesses, including small, family owned businesses, will be forced to provide services even if they violate their religious beliefs.

A case in point is Jack Phillips. Jack owns a cake baking and decorating business in Colorado and has deeply help religious beliefs that a marriage is between one man and one woman. But a law such as HB 767 which not only would require Jack to bake  and decorate a cake for a same-sex wedding, but would prohibit him from claiming an exemption because of his religious beliefs.

The email below asks your legislators to stop HB 767 and to vote NO if it advances.

You may send the email as written or, as we recommend, you may personalize it by giving an example of your own business or that of a family member or friend.

Thank you!
