Robust funding for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Health Resources and Services Administration and other programs that address ongoing public health needs is critical to adequately support a strong public health system.  At the same time, the Trump administration has already taken several steps that will weaken the ability of the public health system to respond to emerging public health threats, fund public health research and keep our communities healthy.

Take the time to contact your members of Congress and urge them to stand up to any current or future attempts to weaken our public health agencies as they work to develop the FY 2026 Labor-HHS-Education appropriations bill.
