Autism CARES is making its way through the legislative process. It recently passed unanimously out of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. We hope that it will be voted on by the U.S. House of Representatives in the coming weeks. 

Your help is needed to make sure that happens. 

Here's What You Can Do:

• Reach out to your member of Congress and ask them to co-sponsor HR 7213, the Autism CARES Act. 
• Ask everyone you know to do the same thing.
   

The more co-sponsors that support the bill, the more likely it is to pass. This legislation is extremely important because, for the first time, it includes recognition of the entire spectrum, including autistic people who require lifetime, 24/7 care. It also addresses the physical safety of people with profound autism.
