On July 21st, the House of Representatives voted 220-205 to pass their version of a Continuing Resolution (CR) which would fund the government until early November. The Senate is continuing negotiations in hopes of passing a bipartisan CR before they recess August 7th. Given these continued negotiations, and tight turnaround, it's likely that the next vote on a CR to fund the government won't happen until both chambers return in September.
As negotiations continue, it is critical that policymakers know the importance of continuing funding for programs that support reproductive well-being, like Title X and TPP, especially as both of these programs continue to face attacks by the Trump-Vance Administration. At a time when people are struggling to access sexual and reproductive healthcare, policymakers should support and increase funding for programs like Title X and TPP!
Contact your legislators and tell them any CR must include funding and protection of Title X and TPP.
