Your Help Needed to Urge Extension of the Sales Tax Exemption in Virginia
As a valued member of the printing industry in Virginia, we are reaching out to ask for your support in a matter of great importance to the printing industry in Virginia. A sales tax exemption for materials produced by Virginia printing companies is set to expire on July 1, 2025. This exemption has been a critical factor in ensuring our industry remains competitive and continues to contribute to the state’s economy.

We need your help to urge Virginia legislators to extend this exemption and support the printing businesses that serve our communities. Without this extension, Virginia printing companies will face increased costs, potentially jeopardizing jobs and driving business out of the state.

Here’s how you can help:

**Contact Your State Legislators:** Visit the PGCA Legislative Action Center [insert link]. There, you will find a template letter that you can personalize with your own details. By entering a few pieces of personal information, you can send an email to your legislators with just a few mouse clicks.

**Spread the Word:** Encourage your colleagues and employees to reach out as well. Forward this communication to them or send them the following link to the PGCA Legislative Action Center. The more voices we have, the stronger our message will be.

This exemption is not just about business; it’s about protecting jobs, fostering innovation, and ensuring the vitality of our industry in Virginia. Please take a moment to act today. Together, we can ensure our legislators understand the importance of extending this critical exemption.

Thank you for your time and support. If you have any questions or need assistance with contacting your legislators, don’t hesitate to reach out to me at tim@printcommunications.org or the PGCA office at 800-777-4742.

Sincerely,
