REALTOR® members from across the West can join Region XI VP Scott Matthias for the NAR Region XI Conference. With racial equity at the forefront of American consciousness, the National Association of REALTORS® will focus the bulk of its policy priorities this year on improving equal access to housing, association leaders said last week during NAR 360, a Facebook Live event serving as the unofficial kickoff of the virtual 2021 REALTORS® Legislative Meetings.

The meetings run through May 14, and members can sign up for free to attend governance meetings and education sessions at legislative.realtor. The event advances priority issues for the real estate industry and the livelihoods of REALTORS®. This year's meetings will include a special focus on ways to reduce the racial homeownership gap and ensure equitable housing opportunities, as well as solutions for boosting lagging housing inventory.
Last year, more than 28,000 NAR members and other participants registered for the first-ever virtual REALTORS® Legislative Meetings, a dramatic increase from the 9,000 who typically attend the in-person May meetings in Washington, D.C.
