Do you qualify for the 20% Business Income Deduction?

Ask your accountant if the 20% qualified business income deduction, which took effect in 2018, applies to you. The tax provision allows "pass-through" entities such as S-corporations and LLCs to deduct up to 20% of their qualified business income.
Business owners in any industry are able to use the tax break, but to qualify, you must have 2019 taxable income that is below $160,700 if you're single or $321,400 if you're married and filing jointly. Professionals get a reduced deduction if their taxable income exceeds those amounts but is still under $210,700 (single) and $421,400 (jointly). FORBES: Twelve interior design trends we'll see in 2020

 If there is one way to describe the interior design trends we will see more of in 2020, it's anything goes. While signature the looks of 2019 and the early aughts like accent walls and all-white kitchens won't be going away entirely, they will certainly evolve in the upcoming years.
I spoke with several experts, interior and furniture designers who all emphasized that when it comes to design in the next decade, individuality will be extremely important.  Las Vegas REALTOR® Chris Bishop was installed as the Nevada REALTORS® 2020 President during a ceremony Dec. 13 at the M Resort Spa Casino Las Vegas. The winter holiday-themed event brought NVR members and guests out in droves and an abundance of fun, new memories were made.

Applications for NAR's 2021 Leadership Academy now being accepted

 The Leadership Academy for the National Association of REALTORS® is now accepting applications for the 2021 year. The deadline to submit your application is March 3, 2020.
Leadership Academy participants will have the opportunity to develop, enhance, and hone their leadership skills and competencies. The program will allow future leaders to experience multiple facets of leadership and define their leadership style along the way.
