Two important roles within the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the SBA Office of Advocacy are slated to be filled in the coming weeks, pending confirmation by the Senate. The chamber will determine whether to confirm William Briggs as SBA's Deputy Administrator and Dr. Casey Mulligan as SBA's Chief Counsel for Advocacy.
Briggs's previous experience as Acting Associate Administrator in the SBA’s Office of Capital Access, as well as his leadership in public policy and financial services, demonstrate his commitment to the small business community. Additionally, Dr. Mulligan's unique combination of academic expertise and technical understanding of government position the Office of Advocacy to serve as an equipped watchdog in the Federal regulatory process. Together, these nominations represent a step forward in ensuring that small businesses are not unduly harmed by burdensome regulatory postures.
Let your Senators know that small businesses support the nominations of Briggs and Dr. Mulligan!
