Today, the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama (NPAA) submitted a formal letter to the Alabama Joint Committee on behalf of our members.

The letter requests guidance for removing the physician signature requirement from the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) sports physical form.

This request reflects feedback from members across the state regarding current processes for completing student sports physicals. NPAA appreciates the opportunity to provide input and looks forward to continued collaboration with the Joint Committee as this matter is reviewed.
