Support Renewable & Alternative Fuel Tax Credits
Federal renewable and alternative fuel tax credits are set to expire on December 31, 2024. These incentives, including the $1-per-gallon biodiesel and renewable diesel blender tax credit (BTC) and the propane autogas tax credit, have been crucial to our industry's emission reduction efforts. Without immediate action from Congress, these tax incentives will expire at the end of the year.

While the so-called Inflation Reduction Act proposes a replacement for these incentives, delayed guidance from the IRS and Treasury means businesses can't properly value or contract for renewable fuels beyond 2024. This affects millions of homes in the Northeast that rely on biofuel-blended heating oil, as well as fleets utilizing cleaner transportation fuels like biodiesel and propane.

Take action now to tell Congress to extend these vital clean fuel incentives!
