2025 NASW-WA Policy Conference: Resources from our Events

The Chapter's Legislative Action Committee (LAC) is working actively during the 2025 Legislative Session in Washington. This year, the Chapter hosted Policy Conference events focused on helping social workers learn more about advocacy, our Chapter’s efforts, and what social workers can do to participate in the process.

February 5th (Virtual Event):The Chapter's LAC hosted a virtual educational event on February 5th from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM PST via Zoom. Thanks to those that attended! This event provided an opportunity to learn more about the Chapter's legislative efforts, our priorities, and to hear from policy professionals and our committee! Watch the recording here.
February 17th (In-person Event): Our in-person Policy Conference event occurred on President’s Day, February 17th. This year, we met at St. Martin's University to learn more about NASW-WA's efforts before heading to the Capitol grounds in Olympia. View the materials from our event below:
