HB 230 aims to continue Medicaid expansion and improve access to benefits by directing the Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) to improve communication with enrollees, adding Office of Public Assistance (OPA) locations in rural communities, and establishing 12-month continuous eligibility for Medicaid enrollees. HB 245 also seeks to continue Medicaid expansion and includes minor changes to the HELP Link program administered by the Department of Labor & Industry for voluntary workforce development assistance.
